It is my goal to continue to support pregnant women and their partners as they navigate pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum life in this strange, vulnerable, magical time. Although I am clearly not currently able to offer my in-person Bradley Method natural childbirth class in midtown Sacramento, I am offering a virtual class for those interested.  I will send out a pre-taped weekly class video via YouTube (those with estimated due dates coming up soon can receive the videos at a faster pace), along with a follow-up email with additional information/scientific journal articles/web links to products, etc. about the topics covered in the video. I will provide all class materials — including the student workbook, affirmation cards, and other handouts I usually provide in hard copy — electronically. I will also conduct a one-hour LIVE virtual meetup on Sunday afternoons for anyone who wants to ask questions or connect with the other people taking the class virtually.

Doula support over the phone during your pregnancy and also in your labor and birth is included as part of the cost of the class.

Because this class is virtual, pregnant women and their partners who live outside Sacramento (or even California) are welcome to join in!  And even though this class prepares people for natural childbirth, a comprehensive class like this one can also benefit those who plan on having a medicated birth — the tools you learn will help you be comfortable in early labor and maximize your and your baby’s health so that you spend minimal time in the hospital prior to and after the birth.

In the ten years I have been teaching, I have had numerous couples — some birthing in a hospital or birth center, others at home — take my Bradey Method class virtually and have the pregnancy and birth they desired, so this approach definitely works. Email or call for more information.
